Just because

Two topics of conversation today.. both army related... First...

If i hear someone in person tell me that speaking out against the war is bad because it encourages terrorist I will probably sock em in the face. This is the most pathetic attempt to quell free speach (short of perhaps the "patriot act"). If you can't speak what you want reguardless of her consiqences then there isn't a point to having America. I bet the first people to cry against slavery were viewed as causing disention. And for petes sake, did he really say women should be permitted to vote? Herrisary! Its call reconizion of truth. Be that truth correct or not, better or worse, its your own truth and I'm in this army to protect it for you. Further... reguardless of their ideal for me, I am more loyal to you the people than any ranked person. I don't fight for the army, i fight for the constution, for it gives you the rights to live under God in this country that was built on ideals. I'll stick with Gatson, Don't tread on me.

Second...

National Guard/Reserve is harder than the "real army". I'm sortta sick and tired of hearing the active duty guys acting like they do something better than us in the guard. What do they do? Go to war and have a garenteed job with free housing and paid for PT? Darn, that is a hard life. Compared to us in the guard... gee humm.. We have to go to war too.. on and keeping in shape and up to date on whats going on is up to us. We aren't quite walked by the hand for everything. And yep, believe it or not, we have to work the rest of the month.. that one weekend doesn't quite cut for all the bills.. like house/apartment payments? And guess what, lots of better paying jobs don't really get excited about having people that leave for a year and a half at a time. We get to live where we want, otherwise.. its not easier so piss off active duty meatheads (not that i disresrespect your service.. but you can get off your little high of being the "best" or only "real" army)

I'm going to state my first goal.. Its a goal I will strive for. A goal that is impossible, but then again, so is most of what I do. Not to be too cocky, but I can do what I want.. Capitalize shall be my slave (-; I'm going to rebuild a car company.. and build the future for poor car lovers (-= AMC!

I miss me, am I under a rock?

Is the army life whats stressing me? or is it worse? Granted, reguardless of the answer to that question the army needs some serious overhauling. Rely on it? heck no. I want to be home... my world is easier to create there. Here there is too much "structure". Its gay. Don't join the military to be a good american, because they assume you're only doing it for the money.
